We take in used soda bottles, clean them, and sort out anything that isn't clear PET.
A machine we designed and built in-house turns each bottle into filament. No shredding, no melting into pellets.
The filament is measured as it's made, wound onto 1 kg spools, and sealed dry.
This is PET, not PETG. It's the same plastic the bottle was made of. It prints hotter and stiffer than PETG, so start from the settings below.
Starting points · tune for your printer
| Nozzle temperature | 250–270 °C | Start at 260 °C. Go hotter if layers split. |
|---|---|---|
| Bed temperature | 70–80 °C | Textured PEI or a thin layer of glue stick. |
| Print speed | 30–50 mm/s | Slower than PLA. Keep the first layer around 20 mm/s. |
Every printer behaves a little differently. Print a small temperature tower first, then adjust.
The first batch is small. Waitlist members get first pick and launch pricing.
Watch bottles turn into filament, one update at a time.
